Nico Nyagawa’s goal, scored in the 87th minute saved Simba from forcing a goalless draw against Kenya’s Ulinzi FC in their international friendly match played at the National Stadium yesterday.

This is the second match for Simba to win after hitting ZESCO of Zambia 2-1 in their first match on Sunday.

Nyagawa had earlier missed a goal in the 26th minute when he hit the ball wide after remaining with only custodian Francis Odhiambo.

Simba’s new recruit Dan Mrwanda also missed a goal in the 54th minute. Ulinzi’s Mike Basara has earlier failed to score in the 17th minute.

Mainland soccer champions Young Africans (Yanga) will play Ulinzi today in the same ground.
