Mapinduzi Cup takes off

Mapinduzi Cup hockey tournament starts today in Moshi.
The Tanzania Hockey Association (THA) Secretary-General, Kaushik Doshi, said yesterday that the championship would feature six teams, divided into two groups of A and B.
Group A has Annadil Burhani, Arusha Twigas and Moshi Khalsa B.
Group B teams are El- Hilal, Moshi Khalsa A and Magereza.
Khalsa A will play Magereza in the opening match before Annadil Burhani take on defending champions Arusha Twigas in the second match of the day.
Tomorrow’s matches are El Hillal vs Magereza, Khalsa B vs Annadil Burhani, Arusha Twigas vs Moshi Khalsa B and EL Hillal vs Khalsa.
The semi and final matches will be played on Sunday.
