Four members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea are in the country on official visit.

The MPs who arrived in the country yesterday will today visit the Amana Hospital and the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology where Korea Oversees Volunteers are working as doctors, nurses, medical technicians and computer specialists.

A statement issued by the Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) in Dar es Salaam yesterday says that during their visit, the delegation will meet with Prime Minister Edward Lowassa and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Bernard Membe, to discuss issues of mutual interest, including the current drought situation in the country.

The statement further says currently there are 45 KOICA volunteers working in various fields in the country.
