Let’s cheer Moro United

Moro United are today expected to host USFJ Ravinala of Madagascar in the African Confederation Cup, return leg match at the National Stadium.

The Morogoro-based side goes into the game with more advantage of beating the visitors 2-1 in the first leg match play in their homeland Antananarivo, two weeks ago.

Moro United any type of the draw in today’s game will make the hosts qualify for the quarterfinals.

Ravinala will only advance if they beat the Moro United 2-0 or more.

We, therefore, appeal to local soccer lovers to turn up in big number to cheer our remaining heroes considering that they are the only team, which has remained in the continental tournament after the exit of Mainland champions Young Africans (Yanga) in the Champions League.

Zanaco of Zambia eliminated Yanga in the preliminary stage.

Zanzibar teams – Polisi and JKU — are also out of the continental tourneys.

Despite the fact that Moro United does not have many fans compared to Simba and Yanga, we appeal to Tanzanians of walks of life to support the home team so that it wins the match to continuing carrying the national flag.

We hope that coach Boniface Mkwasa has prepared his team in a manner that they won’t let us down.

It will be very shameful if the visitors come from behind to beat us in our own soil.
