Chinese Good Governance minister arrives today

Chinese Deputy Minister for Good Governance, Qu Wanxiang is today expected in the country for official four-day working tour.

A statement issued in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday says he is visiting the country from the invitation extended by the former Minister of State (Responsible for Good Governance) when he toured China in 2004.

Wanxiang, who is leading a five-man official delegation will hold talks with the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s office, charged with Good Governance, Philip Marmo.

The foreign minister will also visit Zanzibar, where he will hold discussions with the Isles Minister for Constitutional Affairs and Good Governance, Ramadhan Abdalla Shaaban.

According to the statement, the Chinese Minister will also pay a visit to the offices of the Prevention of Corruption Bureau (PCB) and those of the Leaders’ Ethics Commission.
He is expected to leave the country on Saturday.
