Military and law enforcement agents must adapt to new technology if they are to improve the quality of the services they offer to the citizenry, according to a police officer, Edward Method in the Department of Maintenance of Radio Communication.

Speaking at the weekend in Dar es Salaam at an exhibition of new radios used by police and other security details, he said:”New technology whether we like it or not must be adapted, otherwise we will be left behind in the digital divide,” he said.

Aglex Company Limited Managing Director Alex Mutiganzi said the communications facilities were meant for the military and law enforcers, specifically.

”We are introducing this kind of radios for the first time in our country.

They will be purchased under the directives given by Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA),” he said.
