NMB gets new CEO

Ben J Christiaanse (57) has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Microfinance Bank (NMB).
A press statement signed by NMB Board Chairman, Misheck Ngatunga says Christiaanse has replaced Frans Bosse who recently left the bank and went back to Holland.
Prior to his new appointment, Christiaanse was a Director of Rabobank Nederland in the Netherlands where he was responsible for product development, management and operations of domestic and cross boarder payments and domestic savings.
Christiaanse was also member of the Board of OAD Travel between 1998 to 2000 where he was tasked with special responsibility for the tour operating company and for human resources and internal organisation.
Between 1996 and 1998 the new CEO served as the Director of Mortgages Division of another Dutch bank - ABN AMRO Bank, between 1992 - 1996 he was the Regional Director Private Clients at ABN AMRO Bank Eastern Region.
Christiaanse hails from the Netherlands and holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the same country.
He graduated from Nijenrode Business School in the Netherlands in 1967.
