The Prime Minister Edward Lowassa on Sunday was among the people who paid last respects to the late Ismail Eliyahu Letawo.

The body of Letawo (82), who was once the Mayor of Arusha in the 1970s and the Arusha CCM Regional Chairman in 1980s was transported to Arusha for burial after a mass.

The mass was lead by an evangelist, Jason Kaseza, at Bongoyo, Oysterbay in Dar es Salaam.
Evangelist Kaseza asked believers to be prepared as Mzee Letawo has completed his duties here in the world.

’’We do not have any more time to spend, let’s make up our lives as we do not know exactly when we shall be called, our colleague has finished his duty, let us ask ourselves how better we are prepared,’’ he said.
