Don’t shun loans -RC

Regional Commissioner for Coast Region, Dr. Christine Ishengoma, has urged Kibaha residents to realize that access to loans is a strategy for sustainable development and poverty reduction.
Ishengoma told a gathering at Kibaha Town that access to credit was a strategic measure and an opportunity to empower the wananchi.
She was speaking during the launch of the Coast Region Pride Branch yesterday.
The RC said that Pride Tanzania was a financial institution offering loans to community-based organizations and individuals.
More than 70m/- has been extended to 700 newly registered members of the Coast Region branch. Dr Ishengoma presented cheques to the new members yesterday.
