Kikwete to grace Dodoma prison fete

President Jakaya Kikwete is expected to inaugurate International Prisoners Relief Organisation (IPRO), on December 30, 2006 at Isanga Prison in Dodoma.
The founder and international president of IPRO, Dr. Alexander Mwingira, made the revelation on Thursday at a seminar to founder members of the IPRO conducted at the Open Square in Mbagala, Temeke Municipality, Dar es Salaam.
Dr. Mwingira said, after almost one year of the birth of IPRO in Tanzania, it will be a great occasion for it to be graced by President Kikwete at Isanga Prison, on Saturday.
He told the founder members that IPRO was legally registered on January 13, 2006 thereby enabling them to undergo training on their vision of ’’Love Thy Enemy’’ as a process of being inaugurated by President Kikwete.
’’His Excellency President Kikwete is expected to inaugurate IPRO Vision of Love Thy Enemy on December 30, 2006,’’ Mwingira stated.
He said from January 13 up to December 30, 2006 is almost a year of IPRO’s existence in Tanzania.
”IPRO’s objectives are based on total elimination of crime so as to enable all the people live in a peaceful and lovely environment,” emphasized the international boss of IPRO.
He said it would be upon achieving such objectives that the world could return to the era of Adam and Eva in the Garden of Eden.
