One body among victims of the `Buffalo` bus accident is still preserved at the Mawenzi hospital mortuary in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, awaiting relatives to identify it.

Kilimajaro Regional Medical Officer Dr Mtumwa Mwako told The Guardian on Sunday that the body was among 13 dead bodies which had been preserved at the hospital in the wake of the road accident at Kisaranga in Mwanga district about a fortnight ago.

“The other 12 bodies have already been identified and taken by their relatives for burial,” she said.

A total of 23 passengers perished in the road accident that involved a passenger bus christened `Buffalo` and a fuel tanker early this month.
