Vodacom set to unveil Miss Tanzania prizes

The main sponsor of Miss Tanzania beauty contest, Vodacom, will announce the prizes of the winners before the end of this month.
The co-ordinator of Miss Tanzania, Hashim Lundenga, said yesterday that the mobile firm would announce the prizes earlier in order to make the event be more competitive.
``This time they are going to announce the prizes earlier so that the aspirants would know what they are contesting for earlier apart from the crown. This time they will make it bigger,`` Lundenga said.
Last year, Vodacom announced prizes for the winners just three days before the final.
The reigning Miss Tanzania Wema Sepetu was awarded a Rav4 and 7m/-.
