Augustine Ramadhani named Chief Justice

President Jakaya Kikwete has appointed Augustine Ramadhani Chief Justice in place of Barnabas Samatta, who has retired.
The long-serving Ramadhani, before his appointment a judge with the Court of Appeal of Tanzania, is due to be sworn in at the State House in Dar es Salaam tomorrow.
