Mtibwa Sugar reach Cup final

Mtibwa Sugar came from behind to beat Prisons 2-1 in the Tusker Cup semi final match played at the CCM Kirumba yesterday.

Yona Ndabila scored first for the Prisons in the 15th minute when he used an Osward Moris pass to beat goalie Soud Slim.

Kudra Omary equalised for the Turiani-based club in the 48th minute when he beat Prisons defenders before shooting past goalie Dickson Edwin.

The goal which sunk Prisons was registered by George Nketo in the 52nd minute.

Mtibwa Sugar will now face the team which will win today in the second final match between Yanga and Tusker of Kenya.

The sugar men have already assured of 10m/-if they lose in the final match. If they win they will pocket 25m/-.
