Goat wins race

Wee Jimmy, a goat sponsored by Tigo, a cecular phone operating company yesterday won the first the race in the goat charity competition held at Leaders club.
Wee won the race after it beat other nine contestants and was awarded 1.2m/- by Tigo who were one of the more than 30 sponsors of the competition.
Tigo`s Public Relation Officer, Mary Wankio said after the victory, the goat was removed from the race leaving behind nine others to continue with the race but under different sponsorship.
`Tigo has been one of the sponsors of this year’s competition.
However, we view this year`s competition as very successful because the number of contestants has shot up,` Mary said.
