Taifa Stars coach Marcio Maximo said that his team had returned with a new force after training for two weeks in Europe.
The Brazilian tactician made the statement immediately after they arrived at the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
`People should expect more from us because we have prepared enough to face Mozambique,` he said.
He said nothing would stop his team from beating Mozambique in the 2008 African cup of Nations, Group Seven return leg qualifying match set for September 8 at the 60,000-seater ultra-modern stadium.
He said his players gained a lot of experience in the Denmark and Switzerland tour.
`Tanzanians should unite to support this team the way players have done,` he added.
He also promised to beat Uganda Cranes in their friendly match set for tomorrow in the same stadium.
Stars went to the camp straight after their arrival.
The Tanzania Football Federation Secretary-General, Frederick Mwakalebela, said that the team would train every night in the new stadium for them to be familiar with the ground as both matches will be played under floodlights.
The Ugandans were expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam last night.
The match will also mark the opening of the stadium.
