Swissport donates 12m/- to Dar orphanage’s classrooms

Swissport Tanzania has donated USD 10,000 (about 12m/-) to the Kurasini National Chidren`s Home in Dar es Salaam for construction of its classrooms.
The money was donated on Monday as part of celebrations to mark 22 years of the company`s operations at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Airport in the city.
Speaking at the handover ceremony held at the centre, Swissport contracts and marketing manager James Mhagama said the money was raised recently after the company` management team climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
This is the second contribution from the company this year.
Early this year the company donated 15m/- to the centre.
Mhagama added that Swissport employees were ready to offer help to the centre including physical assistance in building the classrooms.
