Over 70 Dar es Salaam residents have each won 50,000/- worth of shopping this Christmas at selected supermarkets in the city after they took part in the ongoing ten-day `Jaza Kikapu na Coca-Cola` promotion which began on December 15.
Apart from the 50,000/- worth shopping coupon, other Christmas gifts on offer include T-shirts, openers, cups, glasses, bags, cards, pens and Sunfil juice.
Shoppers who buy either a six pack of Coca-Cola cans or two one-litre Coke bottles and one Sunfil stand a chance to win one minute to fill the shopping basket with goods of their choice worth 50,000/- and many other prizes.
Participating supermarkets are Shoprite Mayfair, Shoprite Kamata, Shoppers Plaza Mikocheni and Shoprite Mlimani City.
Others are Imalaseko City Centre, Patco Mbezi and City Supermarket at JM Mall along Samora Avenue.
Coca - Cola Kwanza Promotions manager Frank Manase said yesterday that he was satisfied with the number of shoppers taking part in the promotion aimed at giving Dar es Salaam residents an opportunity to win various exciting Christmas gifts.
``My aim when I came here was to purchase a few items with the little money I had, but ended up getting a basket full of items after winning a 50,000/- shopping coupon in `Jaza Kikapu na Coca-Cola` promotion,` said Justin Michael when he emerged out of Game Supermarket at Shoprite Mlimani City yesterday.
The `Jaza Kikapu na Coca-Cola` promotion is scheduled to reach its climax on Monday December 24, 2007.
