Education and Vocational Training minister Margareth Sitta will today open Femina HIP second annual youth conference on leadership in HIV/Aids and sexuality education in schools.

A statement issued yesterday said the event, to be held in Dar es Salaam, will bring together100 students and teachers from secondary schools all over the country.

The conference will attempt to provide education and impart new knowledge to students on youth leadership in HIV/Aids and sexuality.

It will also serve as a platform for getting feedback on the role of Fema clubs in schools.

Representatives from different civil society organisations, government bodies and individuals with expertise in the area have been invited to speak, the statement said.

Femina HIP is a multimedia initiative working with youths and partners throughout Tanzania to promote sexual health, HIV/Aids prevention, gender equality and healthy lifestyles.
