Tanzanian nuclear physicist dies in Dar

A nuclear physicist and senior member of the academic staff of the Open University of Tanzania (OUT), Prof. Christopher Kiwanga (63) has died.
A statement issued yesterday by OUT said Prof. Kiwanga died of complications related to heart attack on Friday, and would be burried today in the city.
The late Prof. Kiwanga joined OUT on June 1, 2000. Until his death he was the Head of the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Consultancy.He is survived by wife and four children.
