Mapunda, Nsajigwa back to Stars

Taifa Stars head coach Marcio Maximo recalled goalie Ivo Mapunda and defender Shadrack Nsajigwa to join his team which started residential training camp in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
The team assistant coach Ali Bushiri said Maximo had recalled the duo after finishing a six-month suspension imposed to them by their club Yanga.
Yanga officials suspended them after dodging the teams` camp in Morogoro when they were preparing for the Vodacom Premier League, first leg match against their archrivals Simba last year. They were suspended when they were Stars` players.
They were expected to join other 20 players who started training at Karume Memorial Stadium to prepare for the newly-introduced African Cup of Nation meant for domestic players against Uganda Cranes of Uganda.
The first leg match will be played on Saturday at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza. The return leg match will be played two weeks later.
The team will leave for Mwanza on Thursday.
Other Stars players are Farouk Ramadhan, Shaaban Dihile, Fred Mbuna, Kevin Yondan and Nadir Haroub `Canavaro`.
Others are Salum Sued, Juma Jabu, Amir Maftah and Stephano Mwasika.
There are Henry Joseph, Shaaban Nditi, Athuman Idd, Godfrey Boniface, Ulimboka Mwakingwe, Uhuru Selemani, Abdi Kassim, Emmanuel Gabriel, Mrisho Ngasa, Jerry Tegete and Kigi Makasi.
