Copa Coca-Cola teams receive 38m/-

Coca-Cola yesterday injected 38m/- to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) for supporting the on-going national youth soccer tournament, Copa Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola Marketing Manager Fredy Liundi handed over the sum to TFF official Raymond Wawa in a short ceremony held in Dar es Salaam.

``It is our hope that the amount will help teams at the national level which will kick off from June 8-28 in Dar es Salaam,`` Liundi said.

On his part, Raymond hailed the soft drinking company for the support, promising to use the money well.

The Copa Coca-Cola is now being played at the district level.

The winners of this year`s championship will be awarded 4.5m/- while second and third winners will pocket 3m/- and 2.5m/-, respectively.
