Taifa Stars assistant coach Ally Bushiri says they are not satisfied with their victory over Uganda Cranes.
Stars hit Uganda Cranes 2-0 in the first leg match of the newly-introduce African Nations Cup played at Mwanza`s CCM Kirumba Stadium on Saturday.
The two goals were scored by lethal striker Emmanuel Gabriel in the 12th minute and Shabaan Nditi in the 61st.
Bushiri said that they would need to train hard to make sure that they beat Uganda on their home soil.
``In soccer, 2-0 is not enough to make us be proud although it is a good result. If we will not prepare well they can beat us with a larger margin to qualify. The Cranes are one of the best teams in the region, therefore, we should not underrate them,`` he said.
HE said that Stars would be stronger after the return of key players who were out of form after being out of the pitch for more than six months - Ivo Mapunda and
Shadrack Nsajigwa.
The two were suspended by their club because of indiscipline.
Stars returned to Dar es Salaam yesterday and are expected to start residential training today to prepare for the return leg match set for May 17 at Namboole Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.
The winners of the two-legged encounter will earn a right to face either Sudan or Rwanda and later qualify for the finals to be held in Ivory Coast in February next year.
