Stars outclassed Uganda Cranes 2-0 in the match staged at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza last Saturday.

SBL Board of Directors Chairman Paul Bomani said the award would boost the morale of the team in the return leg match set for May 17 at Namboole Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

Bomani added that his firm would continue awarding the team whenever they would perform well.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information, Culture and Sports George Mkuchika who was the guest of honour at the presentation ceremony held in Dar es Salaam, hailed the team for performing well in the first leg and urged them to maintain the record.
