BFT picks three for union league

Tanzania Basketball Federation (TBF) has picked three referees to officiate the union basketball league which will start on May 17 in Zanzibar.
TBF Secretary-General Lawrence Cheyo said yesterday that other referees would come from Zanzibar in the event which would attract 16 teams.
The referees are Manaseh Zablon, Daniel Mbwana and George Kitundu. They will travel to Zanzibar on May 15.
Men\'s defending champion Savio will play Stone Town in the opening match at Gymkhana grounds.
Cheyo said the fixtures of the remaining matches would be released later.
