Tefa wants TFF to reverse Cup ruling

Temeke Football Association (Tefa) is planning to appeal to the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) against their decision of awarding Mbeya a win in their Saturday\'s Taifa Cup.
Temeke defeated Mbeya 5-4 in the match staged played at Dar es Salaam`s National Stadium but TFF`s competition committee reversed the results on the grounds that Temeke fielded two illegible players, Sammy Kessy and Rashid Gumbo.
Tefa Assistant Secretary-General Bakiri Makele said yesterday that they were not comfortable with the decision, said they were planning to lodge an appeal to counter the ruling.
He said Temeke fans would demonstrate against the ruling if TFF would award them the win.
TFF Secretary -General Frederick Mwakalebela said the room was open for Temeke to submit their appeal.
