Taifa Stars will play a build-up match against Malawi on May 25 at the 60,000-seater ultra modern stadium to prepare for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Secretary-General, Frederick Mwakalebela said Stars would use the match to prepare for the Group `A` World Cup qualifiers, first leg match against Mauritius set for May 31 at the new stadium.
``We have already finalised all necessary negotiations with them and they have confirmed to bring the best squad here,`` Mwakalebela said.
He added that TFF would continue organising for more international friendlies to make sure that Stars get enough training to make them qualify for the final set for South Africa.
Other teams which have been grouped together with Stars are Cape Verde and Cameroon.
Meanwhile, Taifa Stars yesterday received sports gear worth 7m/- from their co-sponsors National Microfinance Bank (NMB).
NMB Business Officer Bas Nierop said they were impressed with the team`s performances.
