Education Fund gets 1m/- boost

Vesel Technologies of Dar es Salaam has donated 1m/- to the Education Fund in order to boost the education sector in the country.
Speaking to reporters in his office in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the company’s Managing Director, Vijayee Beeharry, said the donation is aimed at enhancing the country’s ability to offer better knowledge to the people.
He said his company is committed to the betterment of education in the country.
’Because VESL Technologies is training manpower in the Information Technology field, it has a moral responsibility of ensuring that education offered to the youth meets the international standard,’ Beeharry said.
He appealed to well-off people in the country to donate to the Fund, to enable it lay a firm foundation for consolidating the education sector, and, by extension, a nation of educated people.
The VESL Technologies boss pledged that his company would continue to contribute in kind towards promoting education and other development sectors in the country.
