Paschal Mshengezi (11), who is admitted at the Tanzania Heart Institute in Dar es Salaam, is appealing for financial assistance to facilitate his transfer to India’s Bangalore hospital for further treatment.

’’The boy is currently breathing with the support of an oxygen machine, and desperately needs more specialised treatment in India, ’’ said Loveness Miyugi, in The Guardia Limited newsroom in the city yesterday.

Miyugi, who heads an orphanage centre in Kigoma region known as Good Samaritans, said the treatment for the boy a resident of Kigoma and whose parents died some years ago, were estimated at roughly 6m/=.

The costs include accommodation, meals and transportation. ’’Thank God that some individuals have volunteered to foot travel costs,’’ she said.

She appealed to Good Samaritans to channel support to the boy’s account at CRDB Bank (Holland Branch), Account JJ 0112222048600 or contact Ms Loveness Miyugi at 0746 -099 -936.
