Workshop on women’s trade opens tomorrow

A Canadian organization, christened as ACCESS- Access For African Business Women in International Trade, which agitates for African Business Women access in International Trade has organized a five day workshop in Arusha to impart the A to Z international trade essentials in Arusha.

According to the SIDO Women Entrepreneurship Development Coordinator, Happiness Mchomvu, the ’’Exporters Training Workshop’’ starts tomorrow and will bring together some 22 potential exporters from different companies such as A yo Z Sun flag and other companies.

They will address typical constraints that women entrepreneurs face along the export business such as low education, failure to access information/meet compliance requirements, inability to use information communication technologies such as internet, and lack of business network.

ACCESS NGO is a regional technical assistance programme executed by international Trade Centre aimed at increasing the capacity of women entrepreneurs to engage in international trade.
