By Juma Ng`oko, PST, Mwanza

The national anti-graft bureau (PCCB) has donated food and oil worth 900,000/- to the foundation of New Life Street Children and Orphans (FONELLISCO).

It has donated 125,000/- to the centre for the settlement of electricity bill.

Mwanza Regional PCCB chief Stephen Mbelle said the donations were in line with efforts by the bureau to cooperate with all stakeholders in the fight against corruption.

Fonellisco Director Joseph Mabinga appreciated the donations saying they came in time for the 56 children at the centre who badly needed them.

Six of the children are in secondary schools, six in vocational training centers and 44 are in primary schools.
