Azania Bank fetes orphanage in Simiyu

AZANIA Bank Limited’s staff and customers raised millions of shillings in support of Mary Mother of God Orphanage in Simiyu region. The money was raised in October during customer service week.

In a statement, the Dar es Salaam based bank said the donation which also included hats and health insurance cards for the orphans many of who are albinos, was handed over by Lamadi Branch Manager, Muhiddin Mjuvi.

“In commemorating customer service week which took place worldwide in October, Azania Bank staff with their customers raised funds to support the communities facing different challenges,” the statement said.

“Funds managed to support the centre with health insurance cards and safari hats which are a basic requirement for children with Albinism,” the statement added.
