DCB Bank chief promises clients of better products and services

BASKING in the success of this year Consumer Choice Awards Africa, DCB Commercial Bank Plc’s Managing Director, Godfrey Ndalahwa has promised customers to maintain delivery of quality products and services.

Ndalahwa said in Dar es Salaam last week after the bank was named as ‘Most preferred local bank’ that his management will continue investing in innovative technologies that enhance delivery of quality products and services to the market.

“The victory of DCB in the banking category means customers are satisfied with delivery of best products and services in the market which is a reason for celebration by the bank,” Ndalahwa said saying because the awards are based on votes casted by customers, it reflects the trust  that customers in the bank.

He further noted that the award also adds to a number of achievements which the bank has made so far this year hence assuring the market of solid performance by the end of the year. “This is the first time that DCB has participated in the contest but despite the fact that there are many banks in Tanzania, our clients and the public in general chose to support us,” he bragged adding that such support will culminate into strong performance.  

Seconding her boss was the bank’s Head of Marketing and Customer Care, Rahma Ngassa who added that DCB has weaned itself from loss making into a robust bank that has maintained an upwards growth for the past two years.

“DCB as a bank has set out strategic plans to move forward by giving our customers the utmost care. To date, the bank has managed to deploy various innovative technology products to delivery best services to the market,” Ngassa said.

She said recently, the bank launched a three-month promotion dubbed, ‘Sinia la DCB,’ which in essence doubles as both a reward to customers to enable them enjoy the end of year festive season while also as a gesture of gratitude to them.

 “We take this opportunity to thank our customers for their support that has enabled us snatch the wards from Consumer Choice Africa Award,” Ngassa noted adding that customers who use DCB as their bank of choice remain satisfied with services and products offered.
