The campaign named "Chanja Kijanja, Kimasta Zaidi" will see a total of 185 winners among the bank's customers who increasingly use the bank’s Mastercards for transactions stand in a position to win various prizes including cash, Smartphones and all expenses paid trips Dubai, Turkey and South Africa with their beloved ones.
Explaining how the three month campaign will run at a brief launch ceremony in Dar es Salaam yesterday, Andrew Lyimo, bank’s head of Retail Banking said: “Anyone who is a customer of Exim Bank and has the bank’s Mastercard automatically qualifies to partake in the promotion.’’
According to him, during the campaign, every spending worth 100,000/- and above in a single receipt or cumulatively charged to the bank’s MasterCard will be eligible to enter a raffle.
“Every week, there will be a draw and 15 lucky customers will stand a chance to win a cash reward worth 100,000/-,’’ he said, adding: “Further, every month there will be a draw where external customers will get the chance to win the brand-new iPhone 14 pro with the minimum eligibility being spending worth 400,000/- and above in a single receipt or cumulatively.’’
Commenting on the grand prize for the winners of the campaign, the bank’s Head of the Alternative Banking and Customer Service, Silas Matoi said the winners will be rewarded with a five (5) day vacation trip to the mentioned destinations together with their beloved ones.
"So, the first winner will win a prize to go to Dubai with his partner and while there they will have the opportunity to visit various centers including the 'Museum Of The Future' and the Safari Desert. The second winner will go to Turkey with his partner and while there they will have the opportunity to visit several attractions including the famous Blue Mosque located in the city of Istanbul,'' he said.
“So just for doing the right thing like shopping online via their Exim Mastercards we are more than willing as a bank to reward our first winner with an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai where they will have the opportunity to visit a number of beautiful locations including ‘the Museum Of The Future' and the Safari Desert,” he said.
The second winner will make it to Turkey with his/her beloved ones and while there they will have the opportunity to visit several locations as well including the famous Blue Mosque that is located in the city of Istanbul, according to Matoi.
“The third winner will travel to South Africa with the same package as well, while there he/she will visit 'Jozi Towers' and Table Mountain which are famous sites in the country and Africa in general,’’ he mentioned.
