Tanzanian woman becomes new CEO of CCBRT

THE Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT), one of the country's leading healthcare providers, has appointed Brenda Msangi as its new chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.

Brenda Msangi.

Msangi, who previously served as chief of operations (COO) of CCBRT, takes over from long-serving CEO Erwin Telemans, who has led the Dar es Salaam-based organisation for the past 12 years.

"Brenda is a healthcare professional with 13 years of working experience in healthcare management both in Tanzania and overseas," Dr Willibrod Slaa, the president of CCBRT's board of directors, said in a statement yesterday.  CCBRT is Tanzania’s largest provider of disability and rehabilitation services.
