The company’s CEO, Benoit Janin said in Dar es Salaam yesterday that the idea is to allow their clients enjoy unlimited voice calls.
“Ramadhan is the ideal time to nurture ties with loved ones and our offer is a small gesture to our customers to connect and communicate more easily with their loved ones,” Janin said.
He noted that Zantel will continue to provide services to millions of its customers in the country to help them achieve their ambitions and dreams through voice, data, network products and services.
Janin further pointed out that the company offers the country’s best voice and data products and services while ensuring a sustainable profit to re-invest. The Zantel CEO, noted that last year a few issues affected its business and that the current strategy’s key performance indicators are fixing the basics for being the best 4G network.
“We need to be ready for the future with new revenue streams in value added services and data, we are already seeing a lot of improvement in the network,” he noted.
He added: “There will be various exciting products on offer in this period and that customers will be excited with the planned offers that start effectively from 24th May 2017.”
Explaining further on the offer, Zantel’s Director for Marketing, Gasper Mbowa said the month of Ramadan offer is aimed at rewarding prepaid subscribers who recharge their SIM cards with any amount of airtime, bundle or voucher during the period.
“Any customer who recharges will automatically get 50 percent more airtime for all Zantel to Zantel calls, the 50 percent bonus is to be used from 11pm and 6am,” Mbowa noted.
He added that Zantel customers can call their relatives in the Middle East for less through the Arabic International Pack at 2,000/- with four minutes of voice call to Qatar, Oman, UAE, Lebanon, Pakistan, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
