Arrival of Israeli tourist agents will pave way for more tourists

​​​​​​​TOURIST agents from Israel have arrived in Arusha Region to visit the country’s national parks and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) to finalise arrangements for bringing groups of tourists from Israel.

After their arrival here yesterday, the agents explained they were satisfied on how Tanzania has mobilised itself including precautionary measures it is taking in providing service to tourists and other guests.

Speaking to this paper, the representative of Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) in Arusha Region Esther Solomon said their coming is a result of appropriate steps being taken by the government in ensuring the safety of incoming g tourists.

The tourist agents arrived in the country at the weekend via Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).

Esther said steps being taken by the government under President John Magufuli continue to attract many guests into Tanzania.

One of the Israeli tourist agents, Shlomo Carmel said their aim was to learn by first tourist attractions in various national parks and later bring in large groups of tourists within a short time to come.

"We are very happy to see tourism starting again in Tanzania, we see Tanzania just like our home, it is true there are unique attractions that cannot be found anywhere else in the world,” he said.

On July 20 this year a group of 45 tourists from various countries, including Swedish Tourism Ambassador, arrived in the country and visited tourist attractions in Tanzania northern tourist circuit.
