President Samia Hassan has said this today on an official road inauguration of Koga-Mpanda road with 342 kilometers, in Sikonga district within Tabora region.
The president said there have been so many concerns from agriculture stakeholders wanting to hear her stand on the sector soon as she was done with the public servants 23% wage salary increase.
“The plan is to offer manure subsidy to manure industries and importers to maintain the regular buying price to farmers. Directions will be given to manure industries personnel’s and importers so that our buyers buy the manure at the regular price,” she said.
“There has been manure deficiency in the country due to Covid-19.From this, the government has made initiatives for manure industry investments and as we speak, we have a manure industry in Dodoma that will this year start its production. So as time goes, deficiency won’t be high.”
