CCM Presidential candidate Dr. John Pombe Magufuli is in Arusha rounding up his campaign trail ahead of the Wednesday Oct 28 General Elections.

CCM Presidential candidate Dr. John Pombe Magufuli is in Arusha rounding up his campaign trail ahead of the Wednesday Oct 28 General Elections.

Among other things, he has today launched the Dar es Salaam-Tanga-Arusha train services which had been laying idle for over three decades to date.

He has also pledged that should he be reelected, he will purchase new cargo planes to boost the horticulute sector that the region is known for.

As for the toursim sector, he said 80 percent of tourists that visit the country go to Arusha and as such, he will revitalize the sector to inrease the number of tourists visiting the country fromo the current 2 million to the excess of five million.

Dr. Magufuli also took the opportunity to reassure stakeholders and Arusha residents that he will see to it that on going renovations of the Arusha- SakinaTengeru road, the Arusha bypass road and the Usa river to Kidege road are completed in time.
