Majaliwa appeals to Singida residents to vote for Magufuli

MEMBER of CCM Central Committee and Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has called on Singida residents to think carefully the type of leader they would prefer to lead the country.

Majaliwa was speaking at a campaign rally at CCM Ilongero Ward grounds to introduce and campaign for CCM candidates to various elective posts.

"The country’s leadership is not a thing that one need to try on, or even pushed by fanaticism. You must think carefully who is fit to lead this country.” he said.

He called on the residents to be careful with people who use rostrums to insult others, saying this is not time for insults, but time to speak about policies.

In the circumstances he called on Singida residents to vote for John Magufuli for another five years to enable him accomplish what he had started.

“Magufuli is good in planning and following up, he is good in identifying problems facing the people and in solving them. He has always called on his lieutenants to serve the people, and all of us have witnessed the development gained,” Majaliwa added.

He also used the opportunity to appeal to the residents to vote for the party’s Singida North parliamentary candidate ramadhani Ighondu, and Ilongero Ward Council candidate Issa Mwiru.

Meanwhile Majaliwa received former Chadema Cahirman for Singida District, Frank Petro Akunay who defected to CCM.

Akunay said he decided to “return home” as he was formerly a CCM member but lost his way.
