Premier hands over 2 vehicles to Lindi police

​​​​​​​PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has handed over two vehicles to police in Lindi Region to assist them execute  their day to day duties.

The PM handed over the vehicles at Mtama police station, saying the government will always ensure that the police force is well equipped in order to execute their operations deligently.

The vehicles included Toyota Land cruiser Pickup with registration number PT2615 and Toyota Land Cruiser V6 with the number PT 4378.

Out of the vehicles PT 4378 is meant for the Regional Police Commander and another PT 2615  for Mtama police station.

Speaking after receiving the vehicles Lindi RPC Mtatiro Kitinkwi said the vehicles will facilitate patrols to be easily conducted.

“The vehicles you have given us will help in logistics including transporting suspects as well as patrols which is now a problem due to the geographical position of Mtama.

The RPC called upon the government to complete the construction of Mtama police station and build houses for officers in the area.

Mtama Member of Parliament Nape Nnauye thanked the government on behalf of the people of his constituency.
