Telecom launches new mobile money promotion

ZANTEL has launched mobile money service dubbed; ‘Tumia Ezypesa Ushinde’ promotion as part of the telecom move to thank its customers who have continually used the services.

Speaking at the launch of Ezypesa Promotion on Wednesday, Zantel Head of Marketing and Mobile Financial Services, Sakyi Opoku said initiative is also meant to let those who are registering on to Ezypesa experience the easy, friendly and affordability the service offers.

“This promotion allows our customers to enjoy cash back and great prizes,” he said, adding that the promotion will run for three months starting on  February 6, and will go on to May 5, this year and will  provide a chance to active subscribers to win  prizes including smart phones and cash ranging from between 200,000/- to 1m/-.

“I urge our customers to continue using Ezypesa to increase the chances of winning these fabulous prizes and I also urge non- Ezypesa user to register today to be part of this promotion,” he said.

According to him, the new Ezypesa subscribers spending 500/- on airtime self-top-up will get a full refund while customers sending or receiving more than 10,000/- will automatically enter a weekly draw to win a Smartphone.

 “Weekly draws will have 30 Smartphone winners 15 each from ‘send to win’ and ‘receive to win.’ While the overall monthly draw will be for the top ten senders and top ten receivers by volume.

He called on Tanzanians across the country to participate in this promotion  so that can benefit from various prizes including Smartphone, cash ranging from 200,000/-to 4th winner and 10th winner, 3rd winner 300,000/-,  second winner  500,000/- and overall winner 1million.
