A State House statement said yesterday the president also made a series of appointments especially among District Executive Directors (DEDs).
Kihamia was appointed to the position by President Magufuli in changes made in July last year.
District Development Directors appointed include Ndaki Muhuli who becomes DED for Siha District, in Kilimanjaro region.
Before his appointment Muhuli was District Administrative Officer (DAS) for Kiteto District in Manyara Region.
The president also appointed Rehema Said Bwasi DED for Morogoro District, and before her appointment Bwasi was DAS for Korogwe District in Tanga Region.
Others appointed to that position include Sheillah Edward Lukuba, who becomes DED for Morogoro Municipality,and earlier she was DAS for Ilala District in Dar es Salaam Region.
Mohamed Mavura becomes DED for Kibiti District in Coast region, and earlier he was an officer in President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Governments).
Ezekiel Henrick Magehema is DED for Kyela District Council in Mbeya Region, and earlier the Divisional Executive Secretary for Malangali in Iringa Region.
Others appointed DEDs include Diana Sono Zacharia who becomes DED for Butiama District in Mara Region. She earlier was Divisional Executive Secretary in Ukerewe, Mwanza Region.
Hanji Godigodi becomes DED for Mbozi District in Songwe Region, and earlier Regional Education Officer for Dar es Salaam Region.
Said H. Magaro becomes DED for Uyui District in Tabora Region, from Divisional executive Secretary for Msata, Coast Region.
Others are Hawa Lumu Mposi who becomes DED for Malinyi District in Morogoro Region, from Divisional Executive Secretary for Ifakara in Morogoro Region. Godwin Justin Chacha is now DED for Rombo District in Kilimanjaro Region, and formerly Divisional Executive Secretary for Maswa in Simiyu Region.
District Development Directors transferred to other work stations include the DED for Morogoro District Kulwa Magalula who moves to Itigi District. Advera Ndebabayona, DED for Kibiti District moves to Arusha District.
The President also appointed Col. Wilbert Augustine Ibuge as Ambassador and the new Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.
Col. Ibuge replaces Ambassador Grace A. Martin, who will be assigned other diplomatic duties.
The statement said all appointments are with effect from October 1, 2019.
Meanwhile the Minister of State, President’s Office (Public Service Management and Good Governance) Capt (retd) George Huruma Mkuchika has appointed various District Administrative Officers as follows:
Charangwa Selemani Makwiro becomes DAS for Ilala District in Dar es Salaam region, replacing Ms Shellah Edward Lukuba who was appointed District Development Director for Morogoro, and Thomas Salala becomes DAS for Mtwara District. Before his appointment Salala was Secretary to the Kagera Regional Commissioner.
These appointments are with effect from yesterday, the statement added.
