Organiser of the event Joseph Kapinga said 16 contestants will compete at the finals which will be spiced up by performances from Twanga Pepeta.
Kapinga said top five finishers will qualify for Miss Ilala contest later this year and also win a scholarship to study a course of their choice at Data Star College.
The organiser named the 16 contestants with their respective ages in bracket as Happiness Paul (21), Neema Makwaia (21), Rose Lucas (22), Mariam Maabadi 23), Sabrina Khalifa (20), Catherine Alex (22) and Grace Malikita (21).
Others are Rachel George (21), Nasra Munna (23), Jackline Evarest (21), Flora Msigwa (21), Noela Pastory (21), Neema Zablon (24) and Jesca Jackson (22).
He said the winner will take home 300,000/-, runners-up 200,000/- while third-placed will be entitled to 150,000/- .
Fourth and fifth finishers will each receive 100,000/- and 50,000/- will each be given to the rest.
Godfrey Kalinga who is one of the organisers yesterday said all preparations for the event are complete.
Besides Lete Raha the event has secured support from DataStar College, Global Publishers, CXC Africa, Fredito Entertainment, Yono Auction Mart, Saluti5, Kitwe General Traders and Bob Entertainment.
