Another Yanga player Thaban Kamusoko won the league’s best award for import players during the season. Kamusoko has been impressive during league matches to win the prize.

Champions Yanga were awarded a hefty 81.3 million shillings as runners-up Azam bagged 40.6m/-, while third-placed Simba took home 29.05m/-. Fourth-placed Tanzania Prisons were awarded a cheque worth 23.3 m/- during the award presentation gala held in Dar es Salaam on Sunday night. Yanga coach was voted as the best during the season.
