Sevilla FC are expected to arrive in Tanzania on May 21 and will two days later face domestic soccer giants, Simba Sports Club, at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam from 7pm.
The tour of the Spanish La Liga giants has been facilitated by leading betting firm in the country, SportPesa Tanzania, in collaboration with La Liga.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) will oversee the game.
Bocco said his teammates are now preparing for the encounter and will use the opportunity to demonstrate their potential against one of football big guns in Europe.
He added that the May 23 match is a historic game for both the country and Simba players and he, as well, praised SportPesa Tanzania for promoting and developing football in the country.
“Apart from being our sponsors, SportPesa Tanzania have so far shown their commitment in promoting football in the country. They deserve compliments and on behalf of Simba SC players, we will make sure we win the encounter,” the skipper disclosed.
According to Bocco, the match will continue giving Simba players international exposure after the tough assignments against such African giants like TP Mazembe, Al Ahly, AS Vita and others in this season’s CAF Champions League.
“I call soccer fans in the country to attend the match and make the National Stadium full. We promise not to let them down in the encounter although it will be the toughest duel,” he said.
Sevilla Fc players and official will also visit some of tourist attractions in the country apart from playing the match. The areas to be visited by the Sevilla FC players and officials would be announced after the completion of the preparations.
Tanzania has so many tourist attractions, which the club players and officials would like to visit, but due to the time limit, they will have to select few to inspire them.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) in collaboration with SportPesa has released ticket pricing for the match, which is 15,000/- for each of the VIP seats, 5,000/- for teach of the general stands’ seats and 100,000/- for each of the Platinum area’s seats.
