Confident Yanga set for Seychelles

Mainland champions Young Africans are expected to leave for Seychelles today for the African Champions League match against hosts St Louis.
The teams will meet in the preliminary round, return leg match on Wednesday in Victoria.

Yanga will travel without some of their regular players who are nursing injuries. They are defender Abdallah Shaibu while strikers are Yohanna Nkomola, Amissi Tambwe and Donald Ngoma.

However, Yanga head coach Zambian George Lwandamina says the absence of the injured players will not affect his team as he has enough players needed to steer the team to victory.

Yanga will need any kind of a draw to advance into the next stage after their 1-0 win in the first leg match staged in Dar es Salaam two weeks ago.

The Dar es Salaam side seem to have improved a lot after hammering Majimaji of Songea 4-1 in a Mainland Premier League match at the National Stadium. Congolese midfielder PapyTshishimbi scored a brace while Emmanuel Martin and Zambian Obrey Chirwa scored the rest.
