One of the tournament’s organizers, Inger Njau, revealed the tournament is expected to attract plenty of players.
Njau asked tennis players to register for the event and said winners of the junior event will receive beautiful medals while the wheelchair tennis event will see winners in in ladies and men singles receive cash prize.
She also said special awards will be presented to the best performers of the tournament, which has been sponsored by BQ Company and SBC Tanzania Company under Pepsi brand.
She said cash prizes in wheelchair ladies and men will be presented to players that will qualify for the quarterfinals and the rest of the stages.
Njau said the junior event has attracted players from Morogoro and other parts of the county while players from Rwanda, Kenya have registered for wheelchair tennis event.
She thanked BQ Company and SBC Tanzania for supporting the tournament.
"It promises to be a big event as there are many players who have registered for it, we really thank our sponsors for making this event happen," she said.
