Simba will tomorrow hold its annual general meeting in Dar es Salaam with one of the agenda being to turn the club into a limited company.

Dewji said yesterday that if the club will turn into a limited company, he will buy a share of 51 percent for 20 billion/-.
He said the change will make the team be above Yanga and Azam FC which of late, have dominated the local league.
Dewji who was once a Simba sponsor, said if he gets the share, he will also buy shares for members.

“My aim is to make Simba have big budget of 5.5 billion/- instead of the current 1.2 billion/-. The amount will make us have good players, good coaches and perform well.

If we have a budget of 4billion/- we will beat Yanga and Azam,” Dewji said, adding that the remaining 1.5billion/- will be used to build a stadium for the club.

Dewji sponsored Simba from 1999 to 2005. His sponsorship helped Simba reach African Champions League group stage in 2003.
