Simba are scheduled to meet Kagera Sugar in one of the six matches remaining to wind up the ongoing season.

The match will be played at the astral turf-lined Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba as Mexime says he knows how best to take account of the trio.

Simba signed Shiza Kichuya, Muzamir Hussein and Mohamed Ibrahim who used to feature for the Morogoro-based premiership side, Mtibwa Sugar.

The above named trio are now among the first choice line-up for Simba in most of the league matches this season.

Kichuya who has been in an impressive form, has now been Simba’s most valuable player and a key figure in the premiership title campaign.

Mexime says those players are beneficiaries of his trainings and are not threat when his new team will play against them in their return leg tie.

He says Kagera Sugar are still in title contention and their match against Simba will be of crucial importance towards title haul campaign.

While Simba are perched at the top of the premiership standings table with 55 points, Kagera Sugar are fourth placed with 42 points. Simba have a ceiling of 73 points should they win the rest of the fixtures, Kagera Sugar need miracles to stop the pacemakers as they have a relatively weak ceiling of 60 points.

During their first leg meeting at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam on October 15, 2016, Simba won by 2-0 goals.
